I was part of a group that this hotel seems to thrive on, a military reunion. The staff was great. They seemed interested in our activities and were very helpful. In fact, we returned from a tour of Fort Sumpter in the afternoon, and the day was getting warm. The staff met us in the lobby with glasses of cold... more
Old, dated hotel. Room we stayed in was upstairs but you exit the hotel interior onto an exterior balcony to enter the room. Bathroom could have used a good dousing with bleach to kill the mold on tub and floor. Telephone in room did not work. On the positive, the staff seemed to really try to accomodate and the breakfast... more
Stayed here with my wife and daughter for 2 nights. The hotel has a nice spacious lobby and the hot breakfast is good, with eggs, meat varying by day, grits, cereals, muffins, bagels, pastry. The dining area is more of a real dining area than is common at similarly priced chain hotels where they put tiny tables and chairs in... more
It's been several months since I stayed here and I was pleasantly surprised. The entire place looked 100% better and all the employees I encountered actually seemed like they remembered me and were happy to see me again. I felt they treated me like I was a special GUEST! The lady who helped me check-in told me the staff was... more
My grandson and I really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada. Yes, the hotel is a little dated, but I was really impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. When we arrived the hotel was busy with check-ins, but the clerk efficiently moved everybody in and the manager stepped in to offer assistance. They... more
where should I start??? Front desk agents look like they rolled out of the homeless shelter, with attitudes that smell like the shelter! The sales staff, whoa! TERRIBLE!!! They should be ashamed of charging for events, they should give them away, just to fill the hotel! Sales ladies very rude, must not have any experience in sales, supposed to be friendly and... more
The word "rathole" was just invented for this place. Our room was musty, dank, and the carpet was damp the whole three days of our stay. The walls had cracks with brown matter apparent. The bedding came off each night because it was either too small or the elastic shot. The sink was held up by 2x4 pieces complemented by... more
I attended a military reunion here and was not impressed with the room, the food ,the noise from the freeway. While I did enjoy the function ,it appears they exist on retired military events. I'm sure nobody from RAMADA would ever stay here. Wallpaper was peeling from the wall, sink drain stopper was broken off and remnants were stuck in... more
I thought the hotel was very nice and the staff was so nice and helpful. The room smelled so nice and fresh and our carpet was clean. Everything in the room was nice and clean. The hospitality room we reserved was well kept. I did not like the banquet food. The price for it was outrageous, it was cold, and... more
