This is a hotel coasting on its reputation. Absolutely gross. I checked into this hotel and 30 minutes later checked right back out. It was by far the worse hotel I've ever visited. The elevator (only one was functioning) stunk and the numbers to the floors were missing, the corridors were dirty and the wallpaper was peeling off. I thought the Whitney was a great place to stay. The rooms have full kitchens, it is convenient to some cool restaurants and has a capable staff. The breakfast is very nice as well. more

Quick, Comfortable Stay w/Privacy My family and I stayed two nights at The Whitney during Feb 08. The Whitney has ample and convenient parking, large, clean rooms with full kitchen and laundry room. Our suite was quite spacious and comfortable. The suite included a full kitchen and washer /dryer. The room was clean for the most part. The walls were very dirty and banged up.
