I can't count how many baby roaches we killed. However, I can count the larger ones. Four medium Roaches, and one that was almost 2 inches long. I found that one when I rolled over at 5:30 AM and looked off the side of the bed and it was right below my face. However, that part of the experience pales... more

This motel sits right next to a waste treatment building and really stinks most of the time. The doors don't fit properly, so the aroma gets into the rooms. I won't report any violent criminal activity, but I was approached by prostitutes and drug dealers. As for the decor being described as "old English", I'd just call it OLD...as in Goodwill, curbside, etc. The room was dirty, disgusting and greasy! When you consider the rooms are $50 a night and at the holiday inn express... rooms are $160 a night, you get a lot more than what you pay for. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for any budget traveller or students looking for a decent place to crash. The location is not bad considering that you're in the middle... more

This is 1 of only 2 hotels on the island that has a few rooms to bring your pets. We've stayed there about 2 times so far and I think it's an excellent value. Enjoyable stays...over three times at this location. We didn't have any of the cleanliness problems as stated by others leaving reviews. We visit the island to bike ride and dining...would stay at Motel 6 again. Has a good pool and good location. more
