This Hotel looks great from the outside also the lobby and breakfast area are very nice, the rooms are very poor, dirty floors, bathrooms, the air conditioner even went out twice leaving us in a room that felt like over 100 degrees. We booked this hotel knowing that we were 3 miles from the beach. Even though the beach is not within walking distance, it is right across the street from Broadway at the Beach which we enjoyed a lot! The hotel is at a great location for shopping, restaraunts & night life! I would advise driving to Broadway at the Beach... more

Enjoyed this hotel. For $85 a night we couldn't beat this place. The lobby, and room were clean. Continental breakfast was included, and had cereal, fruit, cinn buns, toast, etc. Never used the pool but it looked clean. Broadway at the Beach is a fun place with shops, food and the aquarium. We stayed here 08/13 to 08/15/05 and it was a good choice. The room was nothing special but clean, breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice driveway surrounded by lot of palm trees. The beach is approx. 5-10 min by car. To the broadway you can walk but it will take approx.... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on January 30, 2004. We had a room with one King bed, and the room was very spacious. The bathroom was normal size. The sink and mirror were outside of the bathroom, so it made it much easier to get ready while the other person was in the shower. Breakfast was very good... more
