We read all the reviews, some good and some bad......we decided to give it a try. We were very impressed with the lodge. It wasn't a real fancy place but very comfortable and we will happily go there again. The rooms were big and the free breakfast was very good. more

My husband travels alot and actually will go out of his way when in the area to stay at the Alpine. He loves the hospitality and actually gets a better nights sleep and better internet connection than in bigger citys at much pricier hotels. more

Was once a Howard Johnson and rooms have all the amenities available when an HJ: mini-frig, microwave, coffee maker, DSL connectivity. For $20 more you can get a good nights sleep at a much better hotel! Rooms are not clean at all, the beds are like sleeping of bricks and hotel staff including the hotel manager are rude! Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else! more
