“Great Get-a-way”

Spent a night here during Labor Day Weekend. . . had a bridge view suite (2nd floor). The rooms are exceptionally clean and well decorated, plus there is a great view of the lake from the balcony. The staff was friendly, which made the visit even nicer. more

The Point is an ideal setting for those looking for a great lake getaway. We rented a town level room every other weekend all summer long. The condos are tastefully decorated and are spacious enough for our family of 4 (2 toddlers). The Point restaurant is the place to be during the weekend. In a twenty-one day trip cross-country this proved to be the top spot. Consists of 10 or so rooms backing onto Lake Douglas with terrific views especially at night with lights reflecting off the water. Adjoining restaurant serves good food till late and breakfast is overlooking that lake and the Marina. Boats can be hired - a must - to... more
