I stopped here as part of a hen weekend, when we arrived the staff were helpful in showin us our rooms except we had requested a smoking room and wernt given one, later to be told the only available smoking room would be over a noisy part of the building. Also the bathroom door didnt shut at all. Eventually we... more

Myself and 2 friends have just returned from a 2 night stay at the uppercross house hotel. It cost us 40 euro in a taxi to get there as there are no buses that drop you off near the hotel, the bus stop is a few miles away, not good if you have luggage! On its website it states its... more

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for the Ireland v England rugby game. I took note of all previous comments and found it to be well located with good bus and taxi links to central Dublin. It took me about 30 minutes pleasant walk to the St Stephens Square and museums area and another five to ten minutes on... more

Good location, with taxi/bus stops in close proximity to the hotel, approx 15 mins from city centre at rush hour. The hotel itself was very comfortable and clean and tastefully furnished. I had booked a single room but instead had a large double and single bed in my room. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The private car park... more

I´ve just come from a 4-night stay at Uppercross House Hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. Location is ok, however it takes you 10-15 min to get to the centre by bus or about 9 euros by taxi. Breakfast was also ok, although there were no rolls, only toasts on demand made of sliced bread. The main problem... more

The receptionist on arrival was friendly and helpful as was the lady who looked after us on check out. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable but the view was awful not that... more

Good location and atmosphere. Staff are excellent and friendly. Chineese breakfast staff can be a little poe-faced. Breakfast quality excellent. Single room I stayed in was a little boxy with my pet hate, the tv on a high wall bracket. Bathroom was very clean and bed fine. Overall, a very pleasant and good value hotel. more
