We spent just one night in the four star Glenview, following a wedding, and enjoyed it. The hotel is well located c. 40 km S of Dublin, just off the road to Wexford/Rosslare. It’s on a hill and has a pleasant private garden and good views of the nearby valley from its restaurant and from some rooms (others look into... more

Myself and my husband stayed here last Tuesday night and it was a fantastic experience. We drove to Wicklow eary on Tuesday morning and walked around Powerscourt Gardens, before going to the Glenview for lunch. There was a huge selection for lunch, dinners etc but decided to go for salad and sandwich because we were having dinner in the hotel... more

This hotel has well furnished rooms and is in a beautiful location, but the service is farcical. During the tea break of the conference I went to they had only one urn each of coffee and boiling water which was no where enough for the people attending, who were booked well in advance. They also ran out of sugar and... more

Stayed for a night with my wife for a wedding reception. The view from the hotel front is magnificent. My only complaint is that the room we got was quite small and could've done with air conditioning - we didn't request a change as we weren't spending much time in it. The room had a good shower and ironing facilities... more

Stayed here in April 2007 for one night on company business. Hotel is an extended old Edwardian style country house, though much of the original style is gone. Rooms are adequate, though in a run-of-the-mill kind of way. Lack of attention to small details in the rooms is annoying: dead lightbulb, only 5 channels tuned on the rather aged TV... more

I had my wedding reception here at the beginning of April 2007, and the service was excellent! The food was great, the tables had been set up like we had requested and we had a reception room which everyone used. Check-in for guests was very quick, and they were all pleased with their rooms. It was a lovely day, so... more

This hotel is badly in need of an overhaul. The driveway is appealing. But the hotel is a dissappointment when you reach it. It was dirty - cigarette butts all over the place outside. The room was tiny. The bathroom was grubby and in need of modernisation. It was ok as we only stayed one night but we would have... more

My wife and mother-in-law stayed here the night after my wife left hospital with our newborn son - our elder son had chicken pox and this meant she couldn't return home for a few days! The booking process was very straightforward and handled efficiently over the phone - having called to get some additional info. Shortly after booking they called... more
