Had a great few days(AUG 2008). Room was a large size even with three beds still had plenty of space to move around - and yes the beds were comfortable!! The bathroom was newly refurbised - good size with a nice bath with shower over. The breakfast was self-service which is good as you can choose what you want to... more

This hotel is due to be knocked down in November this year the only thing I can say is GOOD it is so out dated, the rooms were awful, we had a twin room , in the middle of the room there is a pole leaving no room to move, a shower at one end of the room and a... more

Obviously, when booking a package holiday one does have to take the selected hotel very much on trust. However, having used the holiday company before, we were confident that in taking the cheaper of the two options offered we would not be disappointed. Indeed, we finished up delighted with what we found. All the staff were helpful and pleasant, but... more

It was an OK hotel, not grand by any means but an average place. We were lucky, ours had a brand new bathroom, the bedroom was a little shabby but the sheets were clean and towels also and regularly changed. 10 minute walk to the town and a few nice restaurants nearby. For the price it was good value. more

Read some mixed reviews prior to booking, but was told by `Channel Escapes` that it had been refurbished, so took a chance. Oh Dear. Where do you start :- 1. No Central heating when we got to our suite !!!! No prospect of early repair so half the hotel were using plug in heaters. 2. The room was grubby, uneaten... more

My wife and I some years ago stayed at the Hotel De Mormandie when it was a Walace Arnold Hotel and enjoyed it. So June 2006 we decided to stay again, this must now be the worst Hotel on Jersey. The room was in great need of refurbishment. The bed we had changed twice and then gave up, the paper... more

part of a package deal through premierholidays/channel islands direct. found the hotel to be excellent value for money. We found the staff to be friendly, everything to be clean and tidy. OK the breakfast could have been a little hotter but there was plenty of it, as much as you wished. The evening meals had a choice of meat, fish... more

We booked for a week at this hotel before reading the reviews here, and after doing so we worried that we had made a huge mistake. This was not the case though. We found it was a well run hotel, the staff friendly and the rooms kept to a very high standard. Okay, it wasn't a palace, but it had... more
