Not a lot has changed since the review dated Oct 29, 2005. The first impressions were of a tired hotel as we walked up from the harbour. This is a basic little pub/hotel where we were given a warm welcome and a room with a view straight out over the bay. We didn't experience any of the problems related by the yorkshire family.We had comfy beds and a good breakfast and everything I would expect in a hotel in this price range. We were very unhappy with the facilities offered. The shower/toilet was very small and the basin was totally inadequate. We may have put up with this had it been clean. The shower curtain was stained brown at the bottom; a soap bar was still in the shower tray left by the previous occupant, obviously used! The toilet did not have... more
