“Still awful”

Everything is awful except for the food in the restaurant (above average). Rooms not clean. Toilets dirty. Heating turned of at midnight and restarted at 7 am. Staff not helpful when we complained about this. Avoid at all costs. more

Following on from the previous review, I thought I would set the record straight. This hotel is no longer a 'Swallow' hotel, since October last year. I stayed at this hotel earlier this month (March 07) and found it to be clean, warm and comfortable. The only problem was that my room was above the bar, with a Celtic match... more

dont stay at this hotel!!! On first entering the hotel it looks okay and then you go to your room. The rooms are dirty, have torn bedding, dirty carpets, dirty bathroom. I had to clean the bath and shower before using it. I was bitten in night by god knows what. there is no heating in the rooms (radiators do... more
