I was in Memphis for a conference and my coworkers and I selected this hotel based on the good reputation of the Marriott chain. BIG mistake. This is a bad hotel in a NOISY location. I actually checked out after the first night and spent the second night at the Staybridge Suites- which was just down the road (less than... more

We moved to this hotel from one that was absolutly awful. We stayed in a studio suite which was newly redone, it was incredibly nice for what we paid 109$ per night we stayed two nights dec 30 and the 31 on the 31 we had some problems with a party going on above us; however it was taken care... more

We were booked to stay here April 20 and 21. As we were traveling with my in-laws, we specifically requested a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. When we checked in, our room consisted of 1 bedroom with a large opening but no door to block it from the living room, and a second bed located in an upstairs loft with... more

I'm surprised this is a Residence Inn. As a business traveler and "elite" member with Marriott, there are certain levels of cleanliness and amenities associated with Residence Inns that just aren't there at this hotel. The first room they assigned to me was missing lightbulbs, had cigarette ash and butts on the computer table (despite the front desk insisting it... more

We had a nice penthouse room, well layed out close to the lobby. Very good breakfast bar and area to eat. The hotel has some drawbacks though. Our room showed signs of wear it needs to have the carpets and curtians replaced we also had a few bugs in the bathrooms. The trains go by about every hour and shake... more

I really don't think I've ever stayed in such a terrible hotel in the United States and I have certainly never given a hotel a terrible grade. We checked into one of their penthouse suites after a long drive with our small children. After putting them immediately to bed, I discovered how dirty the room was and was shocked. The... more

This hotel was awful. We stayed in the penthouse suite for two nights and what a rip off. The carpet was nasty, our toilet over flowed the first night, carpet was dirty so we had to keep shoes on. There was a floor board loose on the floor upstairs. Also the decor was old. We were very upset. more

Stay was just okay... room config as small bedroom with decent size living room/kitchen area (l shaped). A little dated interior with the exterior entrance...a problem of a rainy day when we arrived. Kitchen had very few plates/utensils. Bfast was not very good.. limited selection, burned bacon, hard eggs and staff hurried/unfriendly trying to replinish.. plus staff started cleaning up 20... more

This place is horrible. Even though I have stayed here a few times and am an Elite member of Marriot, they always get my room wrong! The furniture is old. The breakfast is stale, there is never enough food during the happy hour. Housekeeping still leave the room messy. This place isn't cheap by any standards and you might a... more

Stayed here for four nights at $119/night. Had problems from the start. High-speed internet access did not work. I called front desk, they sent up the janitor who blamed my laptop. I'm a network engineer, my laptop is fine and worked at every hotel I stayed at during this road trip. They sent up another guy the next day but... more
