I have a severe allergy to down feathers. Every hotel I stay I try and make clear before I arrive, all feathers need to be removed from the room - not just taken off the bed. More often than not, when I get to my destination the room still hasn't been cleared. Not so with the Hotel Preston. I got... more

We have stayed a the Hotel Preston 4 times now. We stop there on our trip from St. Louis to Florida. It is a fun place for the whole family. It's cool, funky style appeals to me, the gold fish in the room (upon request) makes my boys thrilled, and my husband and the boys love to swim in the... more

The Hotel Preston is a joy. Far and away one my favorite boutique hotels to stay in anywhere. The Hotel Preston exudes class and care the moment you step in the lobby... actually, the feeling starts as you drive up, under a classic and smooth carpark area. Then, as you enter, smiles greet you, and yes, the room that I... more

Right off the highway, group of smokers sitting on bench in front building...oh great, our 1st trip to Nashville and we were staying in a noisy dive. The lobby seemed dark, a lot of dark red and dim lighting...were we in the house of the rising sun or what? Not at all we soon discovered, the quirky, artsy ambience of... more

Dear Quirky & Fun- Thank you for the detailed description of Hotel Preston's quirky and fun atmosphere! We hosted many Chesney concert fans that weekend who had a great time downtown at the show. We look forward to having you back the next time you seek music entertainment in Nashville. We will anticipate your next hot July minute, come back...

My husband and I planned a birthday celebration in Nashville while driving down to Florida. We selected a "3-star near the airport' on Hotwire, and were slightly disappointed when Hotwire came back with a booking at the Preston. We stayed there two years ago while it was still being remodeled and were disappointed with our stay. The remodel is now... more

Dear Pleasantly Surprised- So thrilled to see you came back to see if those renovations actually happened. We are pleased you like the new look of Hotel Preston. It is really a cool place. Thank you as well for the tip on great dining at Margot Cafe, we will pass that along. We look forward to many visits from you...

The price was fair considering the upscale accommodations. However, it was a steal considering the $90 I saved on parking at the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will be staying at the Preston from now on when I fly out of Nashville. more

Our room was very Nice. We had everything we needed in our room. The lighting in the bathroom was not as bright as I am use to but was sufficient. Our room stayed cool and was very comfortable. We loved our Beds. more

The hotel was clean and nice enough, but I would watch out for the dogs. On our floor, there was a guest who had 2 small, yappy dogs that barked until about 1 in the morning. The walls are very thin and we had very noisy neighbors until the wee hours. Also, my son forgot his toothbrush, so we called... more

Dear Worldly Girl, Thank you for your review. We are known for being one of the most pet friendly hotels in the city and are always glad to contact a guest who may have a pet disturbing other guests. We are experienced pet sitters who have been known to take care of a problematic pooch until the owners return if...

My husband and I had planned months in advance to stay at the Hotel Preston on our wedding night. He called directly and reserved a king executive room. He was surprised to find out when he arrived at 2:30 to check in early before the wedding that they were booked and had no record of our reservations. Luckily, my husbband... more
