We stayed at the Thirfty Inn June 5-7, 2008 during the CMA Music Fest. Considering other reviews read about discount Nashville hotels, I was nervous but we needed a cheaper hotel while we were in town. Thirfty surpassed my expectations. We paid approx. $55 per night. The lobby was fine and staff VERY nice. Our room looked just like the... more

June 4th - 8th, 2008 When we first got there I noticed the lobby was dirty. We got to the room the air did not work, I called the front desk they came and fixed it. On the first floor where you get on the elevator the smell was horrible, it smelled like strong pee and cigerette smoke. The room... more

This was another stop on our way to Orlando. Check in was quick, the lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays. Our room was a little worn, but clean and comfortable. The internet worked well. They offered a continental breakfast, but we did not partake as we left very early in the morning. I probably wouldn't stay if I were... more

I've stayed at this place several times, at least 4 times a year for several years now and the only complaints I would have would be from the airplane noise and its hard to exit the motel during high traffic hours but there is nothing wrong with the motel itself. They could have more no smoking rooms as I have... more

Consumer Reports rates Drury as far-and-away the best moderately priced lodging chain. Stay at the Thrifty Inn, a re-badged Drury Pear Tree Inn, and you will likely agree. We drove to Nashville to see the Rockettes' Christmas show at the Grand Ole Opry House. Looked for a comfortable, clean, safe place to overnight before the next day's 200 mile drive... more

I stayed at the hotel for two nights in December during our visit to Nashville for the Music City Bowl. We were on a tight budget and couldn't pass up the deal ($15/night pp for 4 occupancy). Based on that price along with its proximity to the airport, we didn't really know what to expect. As it turned out, it... more

The Pear Tree Inn Nashville was the first one out of two hotels on our (my wife, two year old daughter and I) round trip from Florida to Indiana. Given the previous two reviews I was a little concerned and expected a worst place than I would like to stay in, given the price category of around $60. The hotel... more
