We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very very clean, the rooms were a very nice size. The bathroom is large and there is also a sink and mirror outside of the bathroom so that helps when someone else is taking a shower. There is also a small fridge and microwave. We found this motel a nice quiet place to spend a few days. Rooms were clean and well maintained but we found the availabilty of wireless internet coverage lacking. (There is no dial up). The daily continental breakfast was very limited but it was good. Local eateries were scant and the motel does not offer any type of restaurant facilities... more

I love this place. Such a nice clean place to stay. Family owned by the Headrick family. She is such a nice lady and so are all of her staff. We have stayed here the last 10 years coming to Townsend and we love it. Clean, cozy and close to everything we love like Cades Cove and the Apple Barn... more

This is a very nice and quiet place to stay. We had a room with a jetted tub. It was very quiet and peaceful and had a great view of the mountains. The staff here is great and apparently very honest. My husband left his favorite golf shirt in the room. I did not miss it until about a week... more

I would recommend Highland Manor in that it was clean and conveinent to the Smokies. While staying there I would suggest that you choose wisely as to where you will dine.
