The manager will not help if you have a problem. The breakfast was out of everything. The AC did not work. more

Up until now, we've avoided HI Express after some less than stellar experiences in 2003 in San Diego and near Grand Canyon. But after finding ourselves in a Dump across town, the folks at HI Express Big Spring were our salvation. We showed up without reservations one morning and they allowed us to go inspect a room before we committed... more

This is a nice hotel, definitely the best between Midland and Abilene. But it could use some improvement. Pros: - Nicest hotel between Midland and Abilene - Quiet, despite its location on the interstate - Very clean Cons: - No hot (only lukewarm) water on 2 mornings - Very poor internet service, at times completely down - Needs maintenance: curtains... more

I've stayed here twice on different trips traveling through Big Spring because it was so nice. Fairly new. Nicely decorated in furnishings. Above average breakfast with hot items like bacon & eggs. 24 hr coffee with cookies in the evening. Awesomely clean rooms & comfy bed & pillows. Lots of channels on satellite tv.
