Good hotel, great location. The hotel has refurbed the rooms from AmeriSuites days, and the room feel is much improved. The hotel dosn't have a restaurant, but you can buy snacks etc from the small bar. The location is great for those looking to explore Stockyards e.g. Billy Bob's is in staggering distance. more

We made reservations as part of a work-related event, scheduled for a Sunday arrival and Saturday departure. When we arrived on Sunday, we found that our confirmed reservation was only through Friday and there was no availability to stay another night. Because our travel plans were flexible for the end of the week, we weren't inconvenienced, but had we had... more

Okay, this was the first time I stayed here. My husband had stayed two times previously and I needed a room with two queens or doubles as I was traveling with our 24 yr old son. Obviously, he would need his own room. We booked the room through the Hyatt website and confirmed for a late arrival. We confirmed it... more

We stayed here on a trip down to San Antonio. The hotel is right in the heart of the stockyards. But don't let that fool you. It is a wonderful modern, clean and full of character. We loved that we could look out the window of our very comfortable room to see roosters chasing about and cowboys riding around the... more

Started staying here on a regular basis just as it was converted to a Hyatt Place. They did a really nice job. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Convenient parking behind the hotel. Super location in the Stockyards. One of my favorite hotels anywhere. We always have fun in Fort Worth. more

The Amerisuites Stockyards I gave a glowing review of in 2005, is no longer. As my husband and I checked into this hotel the sign was literally being replaced by one for Hyatt Place. While Hyatt owns both properties, this supposed “upgrade” was anything but. GONE are the amenities we loved at the more self-catering Amerisuites: microwaves in the rooms,... more

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel, check in was quick, and a good breakfast. It is ideally situated in the Stockyards, the room was large, clean and comfortable. It was also easy to travel into Dallas by train from here. If in the area we would stop at this hotel again and would use Amerisuites elsewhere as well. more

Stayed 1 night end of November 2006. Pros: Large room with sitting area. Very clean and new. 3 miles from downtown Ft. Worth so good for business travellers. Walk 3 minutes to the various Stockyard restaurant for good steaks. About 15 minute drive to shopping mall and Walmart, Target, etc. Great value at $99 (AAA rate). Free wireless internet. Continental... more
