This is an awesome hotel, right across the street from the Galeria mall. The room was nice, clean and the bed very comfortable. The fitness center rivals that of any health club and the pool is indoor/outdoor. Overall, great hotel in a nice area. I highly recommend it. more

I've worked for luxury hotels and would rate this one average for it's category. The rooms are the newest Marriott rooms with a sleeker, modern decor. Rooms are quite big (but same as in most of the Houston hotels) and comfortable. Location is very good (across from the Galleria). But it doesn't have the same style or class of the other JW's that I've been to. The property feels pretty old (the restaurant where I had breakfast is just depressing!) and there is nothing really amazing.... more

The staff was wonderful, our room was unbelievably comfortable, and the fitness center was the best I've ever experienced at a hotel - to include the attendant bringing me an icy bottle of water as I ran on a treadmill!
