Was in desperate search of a place to remain overnight in the Carlsbad NM area. Lubbock inns were sold out. Carlsbad inns are not to my liking. Decided to take a chance on the Swiss Clock Inn and really enjoyed the stay. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast couldn't be beat. Will stay there again. more

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet was in-cluded in our room charge, and it was incredible--eggs, bacon sausage, biscuits, gravy, orange juice, milk, oatmeal, croisants, and on and on. I picked this one, because it looked so cute and charming. Once I got inside, it wasn't charming anymore. The staff at check- in was not especially friendly or helpful, just doing their job. This is an older hotel which has been remodeled and extremely well maintained. Our room was very large, very clean and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and very accomodating.
