We enjoyed our visit to Stowe and our four day stay at Ye Olde England Inne. This is a very relaxing place to stay with the most courteous staff making sure everything was as we needed. The cottage overlooked the pool and had a wooden deck with a table and chairs to enjoy our morning breakfast. the kitchen equipment worked well... more

My mom and I took a road trip from Washington DC to VT for July 4th weekend and we stopped at Stowe and stayed at Ye Old England Inn for July 4th eve. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of character. The immaculate bathroom had a shower stall (no tub), but we don't take baths so this didn't bother... more

Our check in went smooth except that were not advised our bathroom would be an old shower stall. The hallways and lobby were quite dark. We were not advised the hot tub would not be operating....and the pool was clearly not being maintained properly. But we figured we would head to town and not sweat the small stuff. We were... more

For the long holiday weekend, my cycling team headed to Vermont to ride the fabulous hills. Staying at the Inne each night was a great way to finish a hard day of outdoor fun. Dinners and evenings in the restaurant were a perfect compliment to the hotel, as was the English breakfast located in yet another unique part of the... more

Recently returned from a few weeks in US, we stayed in some very good hotels, however, I can say without reservation that Ye Olde England Inn was by far the best. From the moment we arrived we were treated to the very best hospitality and service most of the US is famed for. The food and accommodation is first class.... more

I am catching up on reviews that I should have done sooner, so here goes. My husband and I stayed at Ye Olde England Inn and I think maybe I was expecting too much after reading all the tripadvisor reviews. I thought the rooms were alright being a little dated, the bath amenities very old fashioned, and the hallway carpets... more

We went for a cross-country skiing vacation and had overall a good time. The "jacuzzi room" was lovely though a little cramped and it took us quite awhile to figure out where the controls to the jacuzzi actually were (on a wall behind the tub). A great breakfast is ncluded as well as afternoon tea, however, be aware, it isn't... more

We have stayed in several inns and B&Bs throughout Vermont and Ye Olde England Inn is our very favorite.....we keep coming back again and again. The food is fabulous and the Bluff House Suites are beautiful. The jacuzzi tubs are big (like the bathrooms) and the suites are great with gas fireplaces, refrigerators, and glasses for cocktails. Chris and Lynn... more

We stayed over the Christmas holiday period for 5 nights. Check in was clumsy, mainly because of a lack of staffing (which was a theme of our visit overall). We were brought to a room (each room has a name) that was different than what we had specifically booked, although in the same category. Although it was 6pm the room... more
