We stayed two nights at the Inn at Mallard Cove and had an unparalleled experience of relaxation and dining. We traveled home to the Olympia area for a friend's wedding, and while we have family in the area, we needed a place to retreat to after the hectic events of the wedding. We were looking for a quiet, friendly place... more

The Inn at Mallard Cove was breath taking ~ it was heaven on earth! The inn was gorgeous with amazing views, we were pampered to no end and I still miss the breakfast! I dreaded coming back home ~ me and my family were beyond pleased! more

From arrival to departure, the innkeepers pampered us as we have never been pampered before. The Inn itself is quiet, exceptionally clean and in excellent repair, and is very welcoming. The grounds are the perfect spot to unwind and relax, with many birds animals and plants to enjoy. The inkeepers serve an excellent and abundant breakfast that I would call... more

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a two night stay in the Mallard Room at the Inn at Mallard Cove. It was perfect in everyway. The Inn is beautifully decorated, the gourmet breakfast was bountiful, and the view of Puget Sound couldn't have been better. We brought our kayaks and did a short paddle along the shore.... more

We were looking for time away from the city in a natural setting where we could hear and see birds, and what we got was that and much more. The Tudorbethan style house is set on a bluff overlooking the bay and cove, with a forest surrounding the home. The innkeepers, Linda and Don, manage the land in this lovely... more

My husband, two teen-aged daughters and I spend a night at the Inn when visiting Evergreen State College. Linda and Don were welcoming hosts. The house is impeccable, and had all of the amenities of the finest of four or five star hotels we have visited. The breakfast was delicious, and the views from our room were incredible (even from... more

It was the second time we tried a B&B. We stayed four nights at the Inn - my husband was in town for business and staying at the Inn was so relaxing - it really didn't feel like a business trip. Don and Linda are amazing hosts. They were so welcoming and we enjoyed our time and many conversations with... more

A friend and I took the red eye from JFK to SeaTac, arriving rather late. We picked up our rental car and following our inkeepers written directions, we drove to our overnight destination: the Inn at Mallard Cove. What a wonderful site for sore eyes! The Inn is meticulously cared for, inside and out. Fortunately, it is a place that... more

My husband and I had a magical stay at the Inn at Mallard Cove. First, you must follow the innkeeper's directions. We hit a Dead End sign, and my husband said we must have taken a wrong turn. I said "no, let's trust Linda & Don," and sure enough, we went down the gravel path and the trees opened up... more

The Inn at Mallard Cove met our every expectation and more. Hosts Linda and Don are wonderful and could not be more accommodating in meeting the needs of their guests. Not only were we served extraordinary breakfasts, but also enjoyed tea and snacks in the evening. The rooms were wonderful with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower area. We... more
