We only stayed at the Metropolis Hotel for one night, but it was great! The hotel is decorated in a "metropolis" unique style, very open and friendly atmosphere. We were looking for something different as we traveled back to the Twin Cities and boy did we find it. We will never be satified with one of the big chain hotels again. The staff was professional and truly "Wisconsin Friendly" and the rooms were straight out of Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art. Unique, designerly, but not over the top.... more
