Looking at Napili Sunset's website, I was a little bit worried that the accommodations were going to be "rough." Having now been to Napili Sunset, I can truly say that there's nothing to worry about. The rooms are decorated in fairly tacky Hawaiian beach theme and they're all teal and pink, but the place is spotless and every day I... more

I made my reservation to stay at Napili Sunset last fall, based on the recommendation of my travel agent. When I was planning my trip in January and February, I became concerned because of one review in particular. I was pleasantly surprised because my accommodations were simply wonderful. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the surf. I loved... more

We have stayed with our 2 daughters in the 2 bedroom end units many times. Our last stay (12/2/2007 -- 12/9) will be our last. These units have become so run down. The toilets did not work. There were badly patched holes in the wall, burn marks and holes in the counter tops. It's supposed to be a no-smoking facility,... more

Our family of five spent Thanksgiving week there. Stayed in Room 111. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen (utensils and appliances). Plenty of storage space for clothes. Get a ground floor room. Bigger patio area. Looked right out onto the bay. Steps to a keyed gate that took you to a perfect beach for kids. This is not the... more

My family stayed at the Napili Sunset earlier this month and to say the least we were very disappointed. The units seem to be getting quite rundown. There were roaches and ants in the bathroom, and best of all little geckos running up the shower walls out of the drain. We have stayed here before, but never will again. It's... more

This used to be a nice property, but somehow the elderly have taken it over, with the owner of 119 treating it like his own little kindgom. That means music at 3:00 am blaring over the property, taking loungers away from your room to go in front of his, and just a general attitude of everyone being his personal serf.... more

We stayed in studio room # 104 on June 11-13, 2007. Great place, the murphy bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. I believe the loveseat also folds out to a bed if you had two younger children. The unit had a/c. The unit walked out to the pool and was a 30... more

This was our third stay at the Napili Sunset. It used to be a well kept secret but the room rates continue to climb upward as the demand has increased. On this visit, we decided to spend three nights in the poolside studios instead of the oceanfront one-bedroom units we usually use. This allowed us to take advantage of the... more

Stayed in studio for 3 nights. This is good for 2 people, no more. close to pool and across the street from the 2 story units facing the beach. 1/2 the price also of the 1 bedrooms. Stayed last 3 nights in 217 on the beach. This 1 bedroom had a extra loft with queen size bed, dresser and chairs.... more

We recently spent 6 nights at the Napili Sunset. While the condo was very clean and had a terrific view, the bed was so miserably soft I ended up sleeping on the floor for 3 nights. I complained to management but they did nothing. Had this been a hotel they might have had an opportunity to re-locate us to another... more
