I am a travel agent. This is a great property with a great location. You would never know that you are so close to town when resting by the pool. I would suggest that you book nothing less then a Deluxe if you do not want to be over the restarant. I always tell them that I have problems with... more

I very much liked the Plantation Inn. I liked the decor and the locaton is good. If you want to spend time in Lahaina, the parking space that comes with the room is a real plus. This property's connection with the Kaanapali Beach Hotel is also convenient, since you can park there at the same rate as their guests. Breakfast... more

We spent 2 nights here at the end of a 2-week trip in Hawaii. We had already had a few big disappointments with other hotels and were ready for another one by this point in our trip, but it turned out to be perfectly fine for what we paid. The staff was very friendly. Our room was cozy and had... more

It is very nice little hotel in the center of Lahaina. They have a few rooms, each of them has a separate terrace with a beautiful view to the pool area. All the rooms are decorated differently, we had the one in Japaneese style, very cosy and beautiful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cosy. The staff is nice and... more

My new husband and I spent our honeymoon at this lovely Inn. We were a little nervous because they were some reviews that were less than stellar, but upon arrival, all of our fears subsided. We thought the Inn was beautiful, clean and well kept. Our room was very comfortable, and our balcony was put to great use. The pool... more

We stayed here for one night before a morning flight in a "premium" pool/lanai room for $245. At $79 it might have worked for me. The room was Best Western meets syrupy sweet Victorian B&B meets Home Depot. If your French doors weren't open, there was no natural light. The bed was hard as a rock. The entrance to our... more

The stay was excellent. The complimentary breakfast takes the cake. It was elaborate and very delicious. The French toast was the best I've ever had. The Inn has a restaurant called Gerard's on the first floor, which makes it a bit noisy in the night. The office folks are friendly and very accommodating. Parking is free and it is a few... more

We first stayed at the Plantation Inn in 2002 and have been there a total of three times, staying 5-7 days each time. We have recommended friends here and we will be back ourselves. ROOMS/AMENITIES: The rooms are small but nice, and generally clean. Nothing made of marble and gold, but certainly nice enough to stay in for an extended... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Plantation Inn. The room was very nice, with an old fashioned, homey style. The pool area was very nice also. We enjoyed the poolside breakfast. This was a great hotel to explore Lahaina from. It is one block from the main shopping area. The free parking is great, especially in a town where parking... more

I wish I had read the prior reviews before I went. The staff here is really bad. I was booked into a tiny room, with a connecting door that covered an entire wall. Since my wife is a light slepper I complained, and asked for any room without a connecting door. I was rudely told that all I could do... more
