My family and I traveled to Boston as I was donating a kidney to someone. We stayed at this property for 10 days. Check in was easy, the suite was nice and clean with a great view of the Charles River. Staff for the most part were great. Room service food was great, but they should bring dinner rolls with... more

The hotel is wonderful - clean with spacious rooms. Many people write about the location, but I found it no so bad. There is a bus right across the bridge that will take you to the Central Square T station. I think three or four bus lines stop there and the ride to the T is about 5 minutes. The... more

The Doubletree on Soldiers Field Rd is the perfect place for families. The stylish king suite is spacious and very clean. It can be a little tricky finding the entrance to the hotel. The restaurant was a little pricey, but has excellent views of the Charles River. This location has all the amenities and employees were very helpful. more

Friday night stay, king bed non smoking, was on 16 of 16 floors with high sided balcony overlooking river and skyline (H-Honors member). Spacious standard chain room. Balcony was fun and helpful as Mars was very visible and got some great shots. Hotel has Jazz bar onsite and bar and food. Location is not the best but there is a... more

We stayed here for 1 night before going to New York and despite the fact that it was quite expensive especially since that wasnt including breakfast,we found it very enjoyable. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and nice. Nothing special but quite reasonable. more

We stayed at the Doubletree Suites for two nights as our son began college. The one bedroom suite was more than enough for three people. The HDTV in the "living room", which has the pull-out couch, is great. (The number of cable channels is very high for a hotel.) There's a second TV in the bedroom. There are telephones everywhere,... more

I stayed for three nights on business. Pros: Overall great accommodations, Good Service, big rooms, freshly renovated, maintained and yummy cookies! Cons: Poor air conditioning. No minibar. Tasteless generic in-room coffee. Horrible location. Taxi required to access practically anywhere. Details: First, the hotel should be called “Cambridge” as it far from major Boston sites, business and areas of interest. Harvard... more

I recently stayed at the Doubltree Suites Boston for three nights on business. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. They are clean and a great size, its very nice having the living room to stretch out in and the hi-def plasma TV is a nice touch. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is a good size.... more
