Lovely hotel, charming rooms with period furnishings, friendly and helpful staff, terrific breakfast buffet. Very clean and comfortable. Located on an upscale street and within walking distance to most attractions and/or subway stations. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Boston. more

We have stayed 5 times at Newbury Guesthouse because the location is so good and the breakfast USED TO BE wonderful. This hotel is in a great location, and we had a fairly decent breakfast included with our room (eggs, bacon, breads, juice, coffee). I'd caution those who are looking for something fancy, as our room was rather small and would never be described as "pretty".
