We have stayed here a number of times while visiting Boston for business and pleasure. The hotel has been renovated and is centrally located near the Theatre District and Tufts Medical Center. It is a 15 minute of so walk to Faneuil Hall and a block or less from the T station. You even get a Doubletree Chocolate Chip cookie.... more

Enough about the "scary" location of this hotel. Just remember, you are in a city, and like every city, one must be aware. The Doubletree was a great stay this past weekend. We checked in around noon and received our yummy cookies. We had a room on the 3rd floor facing the hospital. (For the record, we heard only 1... more

I stayed in this hotel in Oct 07 with my Dad and 19 month old daughter. We found it a great hotel we had read bad reviews about location etc but this is far from the truth- 5 min walk to down town and the T station practically in the car park of hotel. We never once felt in danger... more

Our hotel stay had several problems from the start. Disappointingly, we did not receive our promised complimentary cookies upon check-in, which is not a big deal, but when we saw other guests receiving them, we felt as though we were being treated badly. We were treated rudely, and there was no effort made to make things easier for us. During... more

We stayed at the DoubleTree (821 Washington Street, Boston) for one night on Oct 6. We were very pleased with our stay. The room was very clean and had high ceilings and wonderful bed. We returned late to the hotel that evening and were very hungry. The bartender got an appetizer order in for us just before the kitchen closed.... more

We arrive hours before check-in time - but they had no problem with letting us have the room early. The reception were really helpful and made us feel welcome with the most scrumptous cookies and with a map of Boston and with some good advice. The room was really lovely, clean, modern and quite. I would certainly come back again... more

Good time in Boston. Everyone was nice. We were surprised to see the hotel wanted $12.95 for the breakfast buffet. It was too much especially with so many diners in the area for breakfast. Overall was a nice hotel. Comfortable beds, nice and quiet at night. more

I stayed at the Doubletree Downtown Boston this past Labor Day weekend and I was extremely pleased with the hotel. After reading some of the reviews I had my doubts and I even reserved a room at the Hilton Logan airport for the next night just in case I didn't like this hotel. I arrived Thursday morning and called the... more

Like the last reviewer I was really worried about going to the Doubletree after reading some previous reviews about safety. Me and my husband went to Boston with our 3 teenage daughters and the concern about the area this hotel is in is so totally unfounded. We walked around the area at night when coming back after dinner and it... more
