Don't expect any frills but the service and location are excellent. One block off the heart of downtown Boston makes this hotel an excellent choice for location. A nice quiet spot with excellent service. The beds are a bit lumpy and the walls need some paint. more

This is a nice old hotel. If you're looking for large rooms, this isn't the place. Rooms are very small, but clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect acceptable if drab. It's right in the middle of the Copley area, the rooms were clean, although it was very hard to find (it's off Stuart, at the entrance to a parking lot). Given the price, it did the job. more

This "hotel" has zero ambience and needs a good sprucing up. The lobby looks nice, the staff is fairly pleasant and make an effort to add some kind of personality to the place, but the rooms are from about 1987 and need a good coat of paint and some new decor/furniture.
