I have stayed at this property several times over the last few years and have always liked it, which is why I kept going back. This past trip was a disaster! There was hair on the sheets of both beds when I checked in so I had to have the sheets changed because I knew they weren't mine. Then, I... more

My husband and I stayed for a night in April for a night on the town as we live north of downtown. Check in was a breeze, the receptionist was very nice. They have a screen with flight info in the lobby, which would be really nice for travelers. They also have someone there at a desk with city info... more

I never write reviews, but my stay at the Embassy has prompted it. Plus wanted to add to what I had read at this site prior to traveling to San Diego. Agree...this is probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in while not paying $$$$ for it. I would rate above average to excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.... more

This hotel has a lot going for it - 2-room suites with comfortable beds, an abundance of nice fluffy pillows, an amazing array of free breakfast offerings, nightly happy hours with drinks made-to-order, and a prime location across from Seaport Village. Unfortunately, after over a year of renovations, the construction continues. And I found out from experience on my most... more

I stayed at the Embassy Suites during a five-day conference. It served as the perfect place for an extended stay: -a complimentary hot breakfast bar available in the morning -a manager's reception in early evening -a short walking distance to the convention center (10 minute walk), restaurants, shopping -10-min. drive from the airport -a door separating my bedroom from any... more

We stayed here spring break 2008 (late March) and saw no evidence of construction. My son enjoyed the nintendo on the TV, but I was disappointed to find out we had to pay for it; internet access also cost $10/day. It wouldn't hurt to provide these for free. The suite feature is nice, but the sitting area only has a... more

This Embassy Suites is 4.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. It's clean, the folks are nice but it seems to have a bunch of little issues. Slow running drains, poor A/C, cold Hot Tub, no dry sauna (don't believe the write-up), grumpy shuttle drivers and costly valet. Given a choice we prefer the Hampton Inn down the street. more

This hotel is currently finishing bathroom renovations, which follow other renovations made to the property. If making a reservation, be sure to ask for a room on the top two or three floors--far away from the work. Rooms on the bay side have fabulous views and I recommend booking one of those even if there is a premium charged. Hot... more

Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in while not paying $$$$ for it. The rooms are clean, spacious, has a bar sink, microwave and small fridge. Embassy is currently renovating their rooms. We stayed in one of the older rooms and because of the stench of smoke asked to be changed to new room. Embassy was kind and... more

I have never written a review before, but we had such a great experience at this hotel that I felt that I owed it to them to tell readers how wonderful it was. I really think that the 'motto' at this hotel is to make the customer happy at any cost! Everyone, from the chef, to the front desk staff,... more
