Although we didn't ask much of the staff, our room was clean and perfectly acceptable. I'd much rather stay at Boutique hotels than the chains! The Lucerene is filled with very pleasant and helpful staff, is very clean and quite roomy for a New York Hotel. This place just gets better and better. Excellent, friendly and professional staff. Refurbed rooms are brighter and nicer than two years ago.
