When we arrived we had to wait an hour after check-in for our room to be ready. Since there was several others from our party there we checked their rooms out. The carpets were dirty, beds uncomfortable and old, sheets were dirty, and old food in the fridge. When we got our room key we checked our room out, the... more

I have no idea what happened to this place, but believe me when I say its truly one of El Pasos most embarrassing hotels, it took over 8 tries to find a room with a working tv, working a/c, drawers that were not broken, beds that were not broken want me to go on???????? The whole area smelled, the "pool"... more

I would not recommend this hotel. Our nightmare started right at check in. Check in is at 3:00pm, we arrived at 3:50pm we were told our rooms were not ready and that we had to wait 45 minutes. We waited over 2 1/2 hours before we got the keys to both rooms. We booked 20 rooms at the hotel for... more

The Cliff Inn used to be an elegant and popular place to stay in El Paso and a great place to have wedding receptions and meetings. No more. I hadn't been there for many years until a recent visit to El Paso, and was sorry to see the state that it is in. The staff was very friendly and helpful,... more

The blurb says "European with antique furnishings." I did not see any antique furnishing, unless you count 1970s decor, which I do not mean in the hip or kitschy sense. As far as European, not so much. This place is shabby, but spotless... the lobby that everyone raves about has 20 year old sofas and acoustic tile on the celings.... more

I was in El Paso for business once a year, and Hotel Cliff is the place where I always stayed. I guess they just got a new owner, because everything seem to be different there now. The room and bedding is my opinion is better than before, and now there is wireless internet throughtout the hotel for me to use,... more

My wife and I decided to attend the buffet on Easter, never having been there. We have been near there at different times driving around the medical buildings but we had never eaten there. We seen their advertisement in the El Paso Times about their Easter Buffet. We decided to try it so my wife called up and made reservations. Did... more

I recently (August 2002) had the misfortune of staying at the Cliff Inn in El Paso, Texas. While the furnishings in the lobby are lovely, the rooms are terrible. I know this because I kept requesting a different room and actually moved to three different rooms before finding one that was barely adequate. The beds (King) were absolutely the most... more

Although it has been several years since I last was a guest of The Cliff Inn in El Paso, Texas, it is still worth the review. This friendly accomodation is located in an older section of El Paso. The Inn sits on a large cliff overlooking downtown El Paso. Guests should be able to find it with ease whether driving... more
