The Embassy Suites chain has always been one of our favorites, and that included the El Paso hotel.....until our recent stay. We were accosted by an unpleasant odor the moment we opened the door to our room. We called the desk and requested another room. They promptly and nicely accommodated us, unfortunately, the new room had the same smell and... more

The hotel was in the process of completing a major renovation during our stay. Our suite was newly painted and carpeted in a southwest décor, and the furniture, mattress and bedding were brand-new. The bathroom was very tiny with just a toilet and tub. The sink and vanity were located in the bedroom, which was a little inconvenient. There was... more

I checked in as a DIAMOND - there no upgrades given - nothing to upgrade to. I also had reserved a King Bed for a 2 week stay, I was given a double in the renovated side, although I couldn't tell it was renovated. Each day I found cock roaches in the sinks and tub, some 2 inches long. At... more

At first glance the place looked wonderful. They are finishing up some updates but we did not mind the construction. The free drinks in the afternoon were wonderful and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. However, when traveling with two small children you need a pool. When I called to make reservations I specifically asked if the pool was open and... more

I absolutley loved this hotel! They offer more than any hotel I've ever stayed at. Checkin was fast and the staff was wonderful. They even have free cocktails and beer EVERYDAY in the afternoon. Thats what sold me on it! Also a full breakfast in the morning. The room was huge and beautiful. I liked that they still had smoking... more

A Long overdue facelife is apparently being completed. The staff at this hotel were great. Unfortuntately, the property is a dump. Tired Rooms, Noise everywhere (most rooms face busy freeway) and just generally a property that hasnt been cared for in years. Its the worst embassy suites property I have ever stayed at and Im a Diamond HHONORS member. I'd... more

Interesting to read that someone had their electric toothbrush stolen from her room. Idid not realize until I got home that a pair of silver earrings were also missing. It was not a good feeling. the other thing that happened to us was that in our final bill, on our way home we realized we got charged for children's movies... more

I booked this hotel for my husband and two boys (3 and 1) for a family visit after looking the the pictures online. The main selling point for me was the indoor swimming pool, and that the bedroom was separate from the living room. We stayed 5 nights and the pool was closed for 2 of those days for repairs.... more

Don't be fooled by the name. This does not qualify to be called Embassy Suite. $99 is a great price for Embassy Suites, but for this place it is robbery. more

It's true. I had my electric toothbrush stolen off the sink. I did not notice it gone until I left the hotel. When I called to ask for assistance they told me that lost and found is in housekeeping and that they would forward me to them. The front desk forwarded me to a dead voicemail box that says "this... more
