An amazing honeymoonDon't be fooled by the name. This does not qualify to be called Embassy Suite. $99 is a great price for Embassy Suites, but for this place it is robbery. more
It's true. I had my electric toothbrush stolen off the sink. I did not notice it gone until I left the hotel. When I called to ask for assistance they told me that lost and found is in housekeeping and that they would forward me to them. The front desk forwarded me to a dead voicemail box that says "this... more
Stayed 1 night at the ES El Paso. Disappointing. Not horrible or anything, it was OK for one night, but its not up to the standard I expect for ES. Review: GOOD: --Stayed free, but the rates going at the time were reasonable --Easy to find and get to --As usual the atrium and common areas were pleasant --Rooms are... more
I thought most ES were beautiful and modern. This was the exception. The atrium is beautiful, of course, and the breakfast buffet was great (especially the omelettes). The happy hour was disappointing in terms of snacks (popcorn, stale tortilla chips), but might be nice if you want a drink. My kids loved the glass elevators. We stayed here on the... more
Stayed at this hotel from 9/10 to 9/14. Rooms are very, very old and smell musty. Beds are old as well as furnishings. Bathroom is small. Hotel plans on renovating beginning in January 2008. The plus side is the service. The staff does everything they possible can to accomodate you. Breakfast is great. The happy hour every night from 5:30... more
When we first got into the room, we thought "boy this place is really old looking and needs a facelift." As time went by it got better .The swimming pool and breakfast buffet were excellant, they made up for the tired room. Will return. more
You can usually count on Embassy Suites hotels to be clean and up to date. El Paso is the exception. This hotel is about 20 years old and shows every minute of it. The lobby and outside are a bit run down. The rooms are musty and have not been updated since the early 80s. Pass on this one. more
Our family stayed in two rooms here on our way to california. The room had old out dated furniture, rusty bathroom fixtures, and was in very poor condition overall. One of the glass panes in the door was missing, and the curtain had a big hole in it that was taped shut with duct tape. The a/c did not work... more
I booked a room for a longer stay on business. Two associated had arrived a week earlier and when I tried to reach them I discovered they had moved to another hotel. They told me both of their rooms and belongings had been gone through. One had a camera and a laptop computer stolen. The other was missing some personal... more
I wouldn't even give this place a 1 rating. I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks, while on business travel. The exterior of the hotel is nothing that will make you think that you are staying at a premium hotel. Inside, it is not all that bad. The rooms are different. Seems that the King suites are better decorated... more
