while I would love to say that the Sofitel was exceptional , it was not. We were on the 14th floor, (room 1433) had a nice room, but, the shower was cold!!! My husband had the patience for the water to warm after 5 min. I did not! As with other reviewers, I do agree that the staff could not... more

My family and I spent (wife and 3 year old son) a weekend in Philadelphia and decided to stay at the Sofitel based on reviews. The last time we were in Philly, we stayed at the Four Seasons. This time we booked a suite with a king bed. We drove down from New York and found the hotel to be... more

I was staying in Philadelphia by myself for a weekend as part of an extended business trip and the Sofitel provided me with a wonderful experience. It has an excellent location, right in the middle of the downtown area with all the shops and restaurants that you'd expect no more than a few minutes away. Everyone within the hotel was... more

I stayed here for a conference taking place in Philadelphia. It was a great hotel to walk into and both the lobby and the room has that "aaah" feeling as soon as you do. The room was clean and tidy and the service was attentive, the bar was good and the room service was quick and pretty good value. The... more

Just got back from the Sofitel. My husband had a conference in Philadelphia a few blocks from the hotel. We loved our stay here. Check-in was quick and we made our way up to our junior suite on the 7th floor. The bellman brought our luggage, got us ice, oriented us to our room and answered any questions. The room... more

My boyfriend and I went to Philly for the weekend to visit a friend of his and booked a deluxe room at the Sofitel. I'm so glad we did! We had a great experience- the room was clean and relaxing and the staff was great. The bar downstairs also had a good vibe and the bartender was a trip! We... more

We had a pleasant stay at the Sofitel. Great location and lovely, clean, contemporary and large suite at a great rate with breakfast. I wish NYC hotels were as nice, and as reasonably priced. Nice neighborhood to walk in. Rittenhouse Square is around the corner with great restaurants & good shops. Don't miss Bellevue 19 on the 19th Floor of... more

We love this hotel! The beds are unbelievably comfortable, the lounge is cozy, and the staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. The hotel is located near 18th Street, which has lots of small restaurnats, wine bars, and shops. They have a garage to leave your car so you can walk everywhere. We have stayed here twice and will be back.... more

We had booked the Westin Philadelphia and despite confirming the reservation, when we arrived we were informed they were overbooked. They "walked" us to the Sofitel. We arrived at the Sofitel and were greated by a very friendly gentleman at the desk. He was in the process of checking us in and the manager had overheard what happened with the... more

I stayed here on business Jan. 10 thru 15th and found it to be a wonderful hotel. I had a huge room with a beautiful full bath. The room was very clean and extremely quiet. I also cannot say enough about the staff. All of them were very helpful. The first night I got in I was starving and went... more
