I was a little disappointed that my room had water stains on the ceiling-bed was fluffy-lots of pillows-towels were a little dingy but bathroom clean and lots of hot water. There aren't microwaves in the rooms or any area to warm up food/leftovers.Renovation obviously didnt go up to my floor-the 8th floor. The ice machine was broken and very poor... more

The best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff, but it stops there. The rooms are small and dirty. There was so much dust under the air conditioner/heating unit that we thought the capet had turned white. The curtain rod was broken. For our entire three day stay a used orange juice glass sat on the floor outside the... more

Ok, I know there are some bad reviews on here of this hotel, but I really have nothing to complain about! We stayed here for 4 nights to travel back and forth to St. Joe's. Several restaurants and shops were nearby (TGI Fridays, Potbelly, Chipotle, Target all within walking distance). The also have a restaurant and bar onsite. The rooms... more

I was a little worried staying at this hotel after reading the reviews on here. But the hotels is really nice and recently renovaded, staff was really nice, elevators where really nice from inside, the lobby was really modern, although their internet speed was really slow. The rooms were nice, loved the bedding. restroom nice and clean, they have a... more

I am a flight attendant and had a layover here. My room was not nice at all--it was your typical old, dumpy, dirty Holiday Inn. It is right off a freeway and it seemed to be in a very undesirable area. I was too scared to leave the room (I had my own food with me). When I was getting... more

I stayed here for several nights. PROS: -Location is convenient to both downtown Philly and the western suburbs (like the King of Prussia Mall) via I 76. -Room had all conveniences like microwave, good sized, quiet fridge, (I think you have to pay a little extra to get those) hair dryer, iron. Full array of furniture. -Liked the simple, clean,... more

We arrived in Philly on a Saturday evening and had an early timeslot for the Barnes Foundation for Sunday morning so wanted a hotel close to the museum. After reading the 2007 positive reviews of remodeled Holiday Inn City Line (thru Aug 22 at that point), I booked through gophila site at a special rate. Our stay was just fine.... more

I stayed at this hotel with my father in August.. For the price the hotel was rather disappointing. The front desk staff was occassionally rude to guests and often disinterested and unwilling/unable to assist us with questions about the surrounding area. Despite being a tourist hotel just outside of a huge American city, none of the front desk staff was... more

Anything goes at this hotel. I started with my reservation not being honored, and after complaining and sitting outside, I called the customer relations department. They then offered me a hotel room in New Jersey, but no cab fare to get there. I finally got a room that was not what I wanted at that property, and they said they... more

Overall the stay was descent. Ordered room service one morning and put a line through the tip space since it was already included in the price. I also wrote in the total at the bottom. After checking out, I noticed that my room service amount was ten dollars more then the meal. Seems the person who delivered decided she deserved... more
