Won this hotel on priceline.com (like all other Hyatt's I have been to) for $80 a night. What a bargain! This hotel has to be one of the BEST I have ever been to. We stayed on level 19 and got splendid views of the Delaware River and of the city itself. The room was HUGE in comparison to other... more

Well above average hotel bumped up to excellent for the positive experience we had there. Like several other reviewers, we booked through Priceline (doing very well on the price); discount booking notwithstanding, we were treated wonderfully. We were placed on a 20th floor corner room with a gorgeous, expansive view of the river. Room was newly renovated with LCD TV... more

Booked one night at this hotel via Priceline and called the Hyatt 2 weeks and also two days before my arrival to note room preferences. Upon arrival at 5pm, the front desk attendant rudely noted that she didnt see any record of my calls (or preferences) and also said that we may have to wait " a few minutes or... more

Not sure about the complaints with this hotel. I thought the location was fine. Yes, it's separated from the historic district by the (below ground) freeway but a well designed bridge links you right there. It's like two blocks and a breeze. I got the city view which I recommend. Room was great and smartly designed. Lobby was only above... more

I depend on Tripadvisor every time I am going to travel. The reviews are very important to me. So I also like to share my travels as well. My son and I were going to a concert at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia this past Memorial Day weekend. We picked the Hyatt because of its close proximity to the Great Plaza... more

We booked our room on Priceline for $100/night. It was a fabulous deal. We got a lovely room on the 18th floor. Beautiful view of the river. We passed up a $25 upgrade to a "full riverfront view." The desk clerk was polite and not pushy about the upgrade. Our room was near the elevator, but that wasn't a problem.... more

I went to Philly for a quick, overnight visit to see the Frida Khalo exhibit....booking this place on Priceline for $90 bucks plus tax. A good deal for a very decent hotel. Not far from the historical sites. I had phoned prior to going, requesting a double room, but was told there was no record of a request at check-in.... more

We pricelined this room for $100. The Hyatt was presented well, the rooms were nice, the location was great, however we were not impressed with customer service or hotel policies. Reception is snobby and Hyatt tries to charge for basically every possible amenity that you'd normally get for free at other luxury hotels -- e.g. $25 for a room on... more

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a Friday night in March. Since it is within walking distance a lot of nightlife on South Street we like to be able to go out bar-hopping and not have to worry about driving anywhere. Booked on the hotel website, if you look at specials they usually have great rates for weekends in... more

Stayed on Saturday night in April. Paid $330 a night, and thought it's pricy. If you want to a water front room, it's $30 extra. I gave up that luxualy, however, the view from the room 1512 was facing to river and it was fantastic! Had lunch at their restaurant since this hotel is somewhat isolated on its location. Crabcake... more
