This is a clean hotel with an excellent location. The outdoor pool was small, but seemed clean and was refreshing. It is an easy walk to the riverfront and the city market. One thing that we were not heppy with was the advice of the conceirge. She advised us to take a trolley tour of the city and gave use... more

This hotel is just not very comfortable. Our room was very noisy, both street noise and people in the hall; the walls seemed to be super thin. Room was much smaller than other Hilton Garden Inns where we have stayed. Asked for a room with a good view and got a view of the ratty Quality Inn across Bay Street!... more

Our first time in Savannah. This hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. Easy walking distance to every place we wanted to go. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. They were all great. I definately would stay here again. What a beautiful hotel and city. more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon last year in late October/into November and were very pleased. We got a pretty good rate on the hilton.com website by pre-booking....a little risky since if anything happens and you can't go, you don't get a refund since the rate is discounted-but we figured the rate was too good... more

My friend and I went on a long "girlfriends weekend," and it worked very well. Location is good. Close to City Market and River Street. If I could find a similar deal a couple of blocks closer to the center of River Street next time, I'd take it, but saying that, this hotel was fine. The hotel room was a... more

I stayed here for 2 nights using award points that I've accumulated travelling for work. I also stayed at another hotel in the historic district on the same trip (had award points there as well). This hotel paled in comparison to the other (which based on rates and advertised ammenities, the two should have been pretty equal). It is fine... more

We (four people) stayed at the HGI on Memorial Day and had a wonderful stay. We were in a room that had two queen beds, a desk, chair, small refridgerator, and coffee maker. The room was on the sixth floor and we had an awesome view of the river. When we first walked into the room, we went straight to... more

We very much appreciated the advice of previous reviewers. Just finished a 3 night stay with my family. Used the open air lot behind the hotel. 24 hour period starts at 11:00 a.m. The internet service was very slow. So I switched over to the signal from the Quality Inn across the street, which was much faster. Our room floor... more

What a lovely stay! The staff at the Hilton go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The facility itself is stunning - with a lovely 2nd floor outdoor pool and hot tub, workout facility, and restaurant. The hotel is located in the heart of the historical district and only blocks away from the riverfront, city market, and Paula... more

After searching and reading reviews for other hotels in the area we chose this one and were very happy with our stay. We were in town for a show at the Johnny Mercer Theater so this was within easy walking distance (after stopping at Isaac's for a bite to eat and a drink). Also close to other dining & shopping... more
