We left a terrible hotel in Durango (Budget Inn, don't go there) for this hotel, and loved it. Upon our Saturday arrival we found the motel to be just about vacant, with only a few vehicles in the parking lot. If you're familiar with Choice Hotels, this is your average Comfort Inn. Our room (n/s king) was spacious and reasonably comfortable. You could not beat the closeness of the hotel to Mesa Verde. With the pool, hot tub and deluxe continential breakfast, it was probably one of the best hotels in the area.
