We secured a reservation for $89/night during graduation weekend and received an interior facing room. Renovation work was visible, but nothing was going on during our weekend stay. Overall our stay was quiet, but on Sunday morning you do hear the younger people coming back from the French Quarter. That's going to be expected staying anywhere near the French Quarter... more

May 16-19. We were there for a siblings birthday and the hotel was fine for what we wanted. We paid something like $150.00 total. The staff was friendly and there was construction visible, but we never heard anything. The hotel is easy walking distance to the quarter and away from all the traffic and noise. Really, how much time do... more

Just returned from Jazz Fest in New Orleans. We found this hotel to be run down, beat up, dirty, and smelly. We had to change rooms because the toilet didn't work. In the next room the remote and hair dryer didn't work. Both rooms reeked of must or mold. The floors were unwashed, the carpet was dirty and there was... more

Very happy with our five-night stay at the Baronne. Hard to determine why it's so inexpensive and only a two-star. We were nervous after reading the 2-3 reviews regarding stolen items from the room, so we locked our suitcases when we left the room. Hotel was very quiet and we rarely saw other guests. We had a renovated room, with... more

Definitely value for money!! I stayed at the Baronne for 4 nights and I have to say I am somewhat impressed. They are still renovating but I was never disturbed by any noises caused by renovations. The room was newly renovated, clean and spacious enough. I would have loved a window facing outside but I wasn't too bothered by it... more

Let me say at first that I know you should never leave valuables in a hotel room, but while my husband and I stayed at this hotel I hid my wallet very securely in our room. A week after our return home I noticed fraudulent credit card charges on my credit cards that were in this wallet from New Orleans.... more

We had four rooms at the Baronne Plaza for the BCS Bowl. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who helped us to the room with our luggage went off Baronne St. to another street to hail us a cab so we wouldn't be late for our dinner reservation at Commander's Palace-great service! One young man in our... more

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Baronne Plaza. The staff is friendly and helpul. The room was comfortable and had just been remodeled. The location is fantastic for visiting the French Quarter/Bourbon Street (and one block from the Ritz Carlton, where you'd pay five times the price). You can walk to some of the world's greatest dining establishments... more

The hotel was clean and staff was courteous, but very loud pipes and drains, I guess from showers, will wake you early in the morning. The hotel was located in walking distance (2-5 blocks) to Bourbon Street, the Superdome, Harrah's, and many New Orleans attractions. more

My wife and I spent three nights at the Baronne as we attended the Sugar Bowl game. The location is excellent, only two blocks from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter and a short walk to the Superdome. The rooms were reasonable and the staff is very courteous and helpful. One of the desk clerks went above and beyond in... more
