Stayed there prior to Katrina and it was great. True Ritz Carlton service - fresh cookies at the desk at noon, real towels to dry your hands on in the lobby bathrooms, clean well appointed rooms in great condition, hot breakfast each morning. After relying on Trip Advisor (once again) we booked a 4-day stay at Iberville Suites and could not have been more pleased, The location is perfect - 1 block from Bourbon Street and all the action - but the QUIETEST hotel we have ever stayed in! I had high expectation but the hotel turns out to be just OK. The staff were very nice. The room is showing its age and not 100% clean. Valet parking is $32 a day and internet is $12.95 a day. The latter particularly bothers me as most hotels we stayed in while driving cross country offer complementary high speed internet.... more
