We travelled from Ireland to New Orleans and stayed in the 1896 O'Malley House for 5 nights, staying in the Broyard Suite. This wonderful house affords luxury that is second to none. Brad and Larry are the ultimate hosts (make sure their fantastic breakfast is not missed). In all our years travelling to the US, the 1896 O'Malley House was... more

I was lucky enough to return to the O'Malley House again this summer. I had not been back to NOLA in a year, and didn't realize how much I missed it until I returned. Brad and Larry are the ultimate hosts, the rooms are beautiful, the beds are luxurious, and the food is delicious! There was a wonderful assortment of... more

People who have stayed at the 1896 O'Malley House need no convincing--they know what a gem this place is! Instead, I'll target my review toward those who have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before. Do you avoid B&Bs because you fret that they'll be filled with dusty antiques and prying hosts? Maybe the thought of sharing breakfast with... more

I am in the midst of relocating to New Orleans, and I needed a place to stay while waiting for my belongings to be delivered. I decided to go with the O'Malley House based on the wonderful reviews that they received and also because it was just 5 blocks down the street from my house on Canal. Brad and Larry... more

The OMalley House has it all. It's not your country inn. It's an upscale home with covenience to all parts of town but in a very secure and safe environment. The beds are nothing short of something from a novel with luxurious coverlets and great sleeping! The trolley is down the street and a restaurant for last-minute meals and drinks... more

I LOVE this place! The rooms are gorgeous, the owners delightful and the breakfast amazing. It is so nice to see how the area around the B&B has rebuilt after Katrina. It is my favorite place to stay! more

Once again, I've come from another stay at the O'Malley House feeling pampered and spoiled..... from the crisp, cool sheets in my room to the amazing breakfast served to me after a restful night. I am a little disappointed, however, that the "ghost" of the house didn't pay me a visit! I guess I'll just have to go again to... more

I come to New Orleans several times a year for business and have stayed in several different hotels in the city. I must say the best place to stay in the entire town is the O'Malley House B&B! They have a beautiful home that is tastefully decorated, fantastic breakfast dishes cooked up by Brad & Larry, Wireless Internet for the... more

This B & B was an ideal location to walk to restaurants in Mid City and to the Street Car on Canal Street. Brad suggested some wonderful places to eat and a great fishing charter company as well. We had a wonderful time at O'Malley House, the rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was great and there were snacks... more

This visit to the O'Malley House, for three days over the Memorial Day weekend, was different for us in that we didn't have many pre-planned activities. And, since we didn't plan very much, we didn't do very much, other than sit on the porch swing and visit with Brad and Larry. It turned out to be one of our better... more
