This is a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was lovely and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, pillows great, linens noticeably of quality, and the comforter just the right weight. The bathroom is huge, and I loved the strength of the shower! The hotel is located one block from Canal Street. It was... more

First of all, there is segregation in the buffet, and probably the other restaurants also.... if you dont play with a card, but still spend lots of money in the casino, you have to stay in the unlit area that you must walk over 300 feet to get your own food! I asked to sit closer with my 78 year... more

This hotel is very nice. The room was nice, bathroom was huge. Bed reading lights were weird; didn't realize where they were until morning. Getting from the parking garage to the hotel part was a hike and kind of annoying, but it was a nice place. more

A complimentary junket from the casino took me to this property. It is beautiful from the pillow top mattresses to the cozy robes. The marble bathroom is spectacular and the tub big enough for a family reunion. It is one of the few hotels where there seems to be more than enough employees to answer every need. The casino is... more

This was our first stay at the Harrah's hotel in New Orleans. Our room had a great view of the bridge and city. The service at this property is outstanding - the employees here are friendly and helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful from the lobby to the bathrooms. Large deep soaking tub, separate shower - I loved that after... more

We planned a quick trip to New Orleans for a long weekend, getting in on a Wednesday night, planning to stay until Sunday. After confirming our reservation with Travelocity, uniTED, and Harrahs before departing (I've read reviews, thought it wise), we arrived at 11:30 expecting to check in our room, only to be told that our room wasn't available and... more

The service at this property is second to none - the employees here must all REALLY enjoy thier jobs as they are the most friendly and helpful bunch of folks in New Orleans. The hotel is absolutely beautiful from the lobby to the bathrooms. The location is great... more

This was my 5th or 6th time and it just keeps getting better. Sometimes I am with my husband and other times with my girlfriend. No matter, you are still treated like royalty. My personal opinion is that they have the best rooms of any casino hotel either in New Orleans or on the Gulf Coast. more
