WOW what a great B&B in the Garden District of NOLA. Our Hostest was great, showing us the B&B and what it had to offer. We then walked to Commanders Place for one of the best lunches in NOLA (where Emeril started out). This was just the start of great meals over the next few days. Breakfests were great in... more

We had a fabulous time in New Orleans for Jazz Fest 2008. We stayed at the Henry Howard House just outside the Garden District. The Garden District is lovely. The Henry Howard House is a short streetcar ride on the historic St. Charles Streetcar to the French Quarter in one direction and the beautiful Aububon Park in the other direction.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here during our first trip together and first trip to New Orleans. With such a great price, we were not sure what to expect...we were thrilled! The room was beautiful, the "manager" was welcoming and helpful, and she made the most amazing banana pancakes! Highly recommended and will definitely go again if we have the... more

A true hidden gem! This magnificent home is located in the garden district. It boasts 17 rooms and was designed by the renown architect Henry Howard. This has to be one of the most beautiful, clean, peaceful b&b's I have been to. The breakfast was delicious and the innkeeper was very accomidating. I will definitely stay here again and again. more

The place itself is nice and in an okay part of the Garden District, right off of St. Charles. We thought we could hop on the streetcar to take it to the Quarter, but they weren't running yet (since Katrina) so we had to spend a lot of money on cabs. The owner and housekeeper were nice and available if... more

A bit nevous about our first trip back to N.O. but the Henry Howard House was warm & inviting. Sherrie and staff made us feel so welcome. Room was very clean and comfortable and bathroom was new. Very convenient to restaurants and streetcar to French Quarter. The pecan french toast was amazing and I got the recipe! more

This is my new vacation spot. New Orleans is a wonderful city. Warm, friendly people. Great food. Best outdoor music festival in the world (Montreaux is nice but the people make this one the best) This is a great place to stay!!!!! The rooms are beautiful, roomy and get lots of light. Can also get dark if you need to... more

I stayed here for a week in January 2007 and had a wonderful stay. My room was great, lots of natural light and very comfortable. WIFI was easy to access, which was important for me b/c I was traveling for work. Sherrie prepared an amazing breakfast each morning. Lots of restaurants nearby - especially liked Mr. John's Steakhouse. I would... more

We just had to write a review the Henry Howard House Inn. Since the hurricane, the city needs tourists so badly, so we thought we'd go in for a weekend trip. This place actually had their grand opening 2 weeks before Katrina!! A friend who had done some work there recommended it to us, and we are so grateful. It... more
