My husband and I decided to go to New Orleans for our honeymoon and happened across the website for St. Peters. We had the time of our lives! The whole staff was warm and friendly throughout our trip and the room was exquisite, done in beautiful antiques. The stairs and balcony scared me a bit at first as it looks... more

I'm not sure how much some of the people who wrote negative things about this hotel drank while in New Orleans, but it must have been a lot. From the moment I stepped inside the little front office I was greated and treated with nothing but what I can only assume is pure Southern Hospitality!! From what i learned the... more

Well...after reading the reviews I understand the extremes. It IS in a good location-3 blocks from Burbon Street-but on the north side of the French Quarter-keeps it cheap but some walking to get south of Burbon. Some rooms are big (ours was a large 2 bedroom suite) some are really small (I saw one getting cleaned that could barely fit... more

Exposed wiring, faulty plumbing, windows painted shut, rotting floor boards on balcony. The list goes on and on. Stay somewhere else! more

I loved my two-night stay at St. Peter's and agree with the many glowing reviews on this site. The location is perfect of course. And in my room, 33, the bed was sound and comfortable, the linens were spotless. Plenty of storage space in the closet. The floors, the (big) bathroom, etc. were sparkling clean, corners and all. The staff... more

Blood stains on the comforter. Cigarette burns on the sheets. Unidentifiable stains on pillow cases. Dead cockroaches under bed. Very uncooperative management. That's just for starters. Their website is VERY misleading. Rooms looked to be ROOMY on the site. But when we arrived - they are very small. And look NOTHING like the pictures. We'd leave for the day in... more

We started out with problems over reservations, it all went downhill from there. Management was very disagreeable. The room we were given was tiny. A corner room on the second story around 8ft. by 10 ft. (if that large) with a double bed and one small armoire not large enough to store anything in and only with those two pieces... more

Okay when I booked this room my expectations were very low. I mean come on at this price the hotel can't be very good. It managed to disappoint me even with my low expectations. I had a balcony room facing the street. The room had a bed, a night stand big enough for a lamp and a chest. That's it.... more

We rented a 2BR suite for 4 of us Jazz Fest weekend. The space was large w/ 3 good-sized beds, but other than that the place looked like it was decorated with furniture from someone's garage. There was a small, broken couch and 2 armchairs, a small coffee table, a desk with broken drawer and that's it. And the floors... more

My husband and I traveled to New Orleans for Jazz Fest and stayed from April 26 through the 29. This was my 5th trip to New Orleans, and my husband's 3rd. It was my first time staying in the French Quarter and to Jazz Fest. We stayed at St. Peter House, which is on the corner of St. Peter and... more
