I wish I could say that I liked this hotel a little better. It is a family run operation and the staff was friendly. The room was large but severly dated. The bathroom was very small and sheets were paper thin. The price was affordable but on my next visit, I would pay more to have a nicer hotel. To... more

Nice hotel for the money. This hotel is located very close to where the Ironman Triathlon begins. Was not excited about paying $6/night for parking to get a space in the hotel's lot. Also do not understand the limit of 3 adults per room....something to do with the fire code or regs. The room is a bit dated in its... more

We stayed one night at this hotel after a flight arrived late in the evening in Kona. It was very close to the airport and we were planning on leaving to explore the island the next morning, so this was a good opportunity for us to save a little cash since we would only be in the hotel to sleep... more

The hotel was clean and well maintained and very centrally located for shops and restaurants. The staff were quite friendly and helpful when we had a slightly tricky booking. However, I'd like to reiterate what others have said regarding the noise. We booked the cheapest rooms (I think the 'Mountain View') - what we didn't realise is that this part... more

We booked this hotel knowing that it would be a budget hotel..no frills but within walking distance of everything. What we didnt know was how loud the hotel would be. Literally every morning around 6:45 or 7am there was someone yelling and waking up everyone. Most nights there were also large groups congregating in the courtyards or out on their... more

My husband and I stayed here for five days while we learned to scuba and explored the island. We thought the hotel was a great budget option. We used the free nearby parking and never had any problems. We really liked being able to walk to shops and restaurants nearby. While the hotel staff was not overly friendly, they were... more

This wasn't the best hotel we stayed in in Hawaii but for the price it was fine. It's very rough round the edges but it's also very well located and Kailua itself is a really nice place. We were only there for a night - I wouldn't have liked to have stayed there much longer than that but it was... more

This is a mediocre hotel with facilities that close very early. There is one way in and out after 9 pm. the pool closes at 6 pm. The good part is the rooms are clean. You are not made to feel welcome and the customer service at the desk is terrible. If you don't care about any of that, consider this:... more

Excellent location-withing easy walking distance to Alli Drive. We had a beautiful ocean view from our balcony. The rooms were clean and well kept. The staff was incredibly friendly. We stayed for 9 days on our honeymoon and loved it. A terrific value. The only drawback was the parking, which was tight spaces and sometimes too many cars. However, on... more
