What a wonderful place. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and Private. The fresh breakfast left for us each day was delicious. We certainly felt right at home during our stay. Nancy pays attention to all the little details which is what makes this a GREAT place to stay. Located up in the hills above town we were out of the... more

This was the most wonderful place we stayed on our trip to Hawaii. We were in the Cottage for 3 nights and wished we had stayed longer. It was spotless and Nancy provided every little thing people could need. The deck was spacious and private with a glimpse of the ocean and a lovely spot for breakfast and relaxation. Nancy... more

It was such a lovely stay, I hardly know where to begin. So, randomly, off the top of my head: I loved the coconut pastry I had for breakfast on my first day! All the pastries and other breakfast goodies were good but that was my favorite. I was thankful to have a de-humidifier in the bedroom. It made for... more

My husband and I had planned a trip to Hawaii for June of 2008. We had tickets on ATA that evaporated overnight when the airline filed for bankruptcy. We were unable to save our trip since we hadn't used a credit card to buy the tickets (we had used bumping vouchers instead). We had already booked a week at Nancy's... more

We stayed in the lovely studio in mid-March. We had a great experience. The accomodations were excellent----very comfortable, clean, and private. Nancy, you must have lived in the studio for a test run to get a first-hand sense of what its users need----nothing was overlooked. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast on the lanai watching the wayward peacock,... more

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Nancy's Hideway for five days at the end of February. This lovely spot is a bit of heaven and the perfect location if you are looking for complete relaxation! The higher elevation made for cool evenings - perfect for a good night's sleep. The mornings were quiet, except for the sound of... more

We came back from a 20days holiday in Hawaii... Sigh!!! We stopped for 5 nights at Nancy's Hideway and... what a surprise!!! The location is lovely (quiet and private) and lovely is the accomodation. We stayed in the Nohea Studio: PERFECT!! Great breakfast (fresh fruit, juice, pastry), great room (wide and very very very clean), great facilities (microwave, patio with... more

This is a nice place to stay for budget-conscious travelers to Kona. This B and B is located on a cul-de-sac of a suburban subdivision. We stayed in the studio apartment, which may have been a converted garage, although very nicely done. There was a small kitchenette and the bed was comfortable. While it is quite a ways up the... more

We stayed at Nancy's Hideaway for a week in April and loved, Loved, LOVED IT!! We stayed in the Nahele Cottage. Great view all the way down the hill to the coast. Every morning we woke up more refreshed than the last. It was well worth the 5-10 minute drive up from "town" in Kona to get the cooler mountain... more

Thanks to Trip Advisor reviews we read, we’re just finishing up the second night of our stay in the Nohea Studio high above bustling Kailua-Kona and I have to say it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. You won’t be disappointed. You’ll need a rental car of course, but It’s an excellent home base for exploring the entire... more
