I have never written a negative review in my life, I even hesitated writing this one, but I could NOT overlook the poor, poor customer service I received from the General Manager herself. I am extremely embarrassed that she is in the business of servicing people. There is no need to get into major details, but the bottom line to... more

For $100 per night; I expected the sheets to at least fit the bed. All night long we had to keep tugging on the corners to put them back in place, but they kept working loose and we'd find ourselves on the mattress instead of on the sheets. I went to the office to ask the front desk clerk to... more

I stayed for a week in May and was satisfied with the accommodations. The room was a decent size and clean, sheets were changed daily and the location was reasonably quiet. It has a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. No room service (it’s a budget hotel), but the staff directed me to a nearby Safeway. If you’re going to... more

Our in room coffee pot had a huge chip in the top of the glass that should have been noticed by housekeeping. When I called to front desk for another pot, I was told the hotel was fully booked and he would "see" if he could find anything. After half a hour, my husband went down to front desk to... more

My husband and I only stayed here for two nights. The pros: The price was good. The location is central if a bit down-trodden. The staff is friendly and helpful, more so than I would have expected for the price. The rooms were basic, but clean, and the showers were hot. There is a microwave and a refrigerator in the... more

The travel lodge was a life saver to us. Our hotel reservations that we had made at the Holiday Inn Express across the street were given away in "error" and we found ourselves (5 of us total) without a place to stay. We called the Travel Lodge and sure enough they could accomodate our group and even saved us money.... more

The location and price of this hotel make for a great deal. The drive from this location to the zoo is about 2 min, to downtown was about 10 min. Is on one of the major thoroughfares of the city which makes it easy to access, but is tucked away enough for the traffic not to effect your stay. The... more

I can't say this was a terrible place to stay - for the money it was a good enough place to drop into off and onto a flight late the incoming night or for an early departure. It's at a busy intersection, and it gave me the creeps a little bit - some people just loitering around the gas station... more

I've stayed at the Emerald Inn on more than one occasion and found it to be clean, affordable and comfortable. Doesn't have the amenities of the higher priced chains but if you're looking for a clean place to sleep - you can't beat it! more
