My stay at the Green Lake Guest House was lovely. The decor in all of the common rooms and my room was inviting and warm, but not stuffy. The owner, Julie, who prepared breakfast everyday, was so welcoming and friendly, as were all of the other guests I met----an unexpected pleasure. The food was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the... more

Seattle was the last stop of our 5 week tour round BC and it was a relief to be able to put our feet up and just chill in the comfy house. The room was very nice and the chocolate brownies just as they should be - gooey! There were lots of nice touches - free drinks, biscuits, face cleanser... more

You could not ask for a better place to stay! The rooms are immaculately clean and the owners, Blayne & Julie McAferty, make you feel right at home. Julie fixes breakfasts fit for a king or queen, very delicious and filling. Sitting at the breakfast table visiting with the other guests, with some prompting from Blayne, was a wonderful way... more

Stayed 3 nights (check-in on Monday, check-out on Thursday) at the end of July to rest and wind down after a business trip to Seattle. I wanted to check in earlier, which I could (1pm). The first good surprise was that the room was even ready before standard availability time when I arrived. The check-in process was accurate and straightforward.... more

The guest house is set ina beautiful location right on the lake but close enough to Seattle centre. It has a good variety of restaurants and bars close by.The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable and the facilities are good.I would recommend this guest house as a quiet base to visit Seattle and would definately stay there again more

My husband and I were really excited to stay at this B & B. We had never stayed at one before and saw this one online and decided we should try it. The house was very cozy. We loved our room and I loved the jetted bath tub. The whole house was decorated very lovely. We could tell that Julie... more

We stayed at the Greenlake B&B for three nights after spending just over two weeks in Canada. It is a lovely place to stay with very pleasant rooms and very welcoming hosts. We really liked the location which is north of downtown Seattle, allowing us to walk each evening around the lake and also to the local restaurants after our... more

The Guest house was superb, it was in a fantastic location right opposite Greenlake so views were lovely and could on lovely walks around the lake. The actual... more

Greenlake Guest House was the first stop on our honeymoon and I don't think we could have picked a better home-base from which to check out Seattle. Situated right across the street from the lake that gives the B&B its name, this home turned guesthouse is so charming and welcoming we were ready to move in after the first night.... more

The guest house is in a great postition over looking the lake. Nice restaurants and bars nearby, handy for downtown Seattle by bus or taxi. The guest house was comfortable with lots of little extras ie: chilled soft drinks available 24/7, free use of internet and printer and free local phone calls. Blayne and his staff were very helpful and... more
