Me and my girlfriend stayed here for four nights in late July. We had the Garden Room, which is the smallest room, but which was still very bright and spacious. I completely agree with all the positive reviews on here. The manager is super-friendly, the breakfast was excellent and different ever day, and the house was absolutely gorgious. When we... more

The Salisbury House is a wonderful, relaxing place to stay if you are visiting Seattle. Capitol Hill is a great neighborhood, and the Salisbury House is clean, quiet, respectful of its guests' privacy while being warm and welcoming. The grounds are also lovely. The rooms I stayed in were light, airy, immaculate and charming. The breakfasts were excellent, and the... more

My boyfriend and I went on a trip to the out west and stayed at this B&B after a 7-day cruise. This B&B is located in the Capital Hill neighborhood, which is one of our favorite areas of Seattle. Capital Hill was the sought-after place to live around the turn of the century, and it has a lot of charm... more

My wife and I stayed here three nights during a visit to Seattle. The inn is beautiful and very well cared for. Our room (the blue room) was relatively small, but the bathroom was spacious and the private balcony was very nice. (However, the sun porch, which all guests can access, was even nicer.) Breakfasts were great. Twice we had... more

A beautiful neighborhood and beautiful home. I loved Seattle and staying at this B&B definitely added to my experience of the city. Such a lovely neighborhood and Volunteer Park is just down the street with a wonderful conservatory. With so much to do in Seattle and this being my first time to the city I wouldn't have visited this area... more

My wife and I have stayed at Salisbury House a number of times over the years and it gets better every time. They recently replaced all the bathroom floors with traditional tile and upgraded fixtures. In celebration of our wedding anniversary, we spent a night in a downtown Seattle hotel and a night a Salisbury House. Our night at the... more

We stayed 3 nights at Salisbury House. The house is huge and beautiful and located in a fantastic residential area of Seattle. We stayed in the suite which has a separate entrance. The suite was relatively expensive for a B and B but quiet, large, clean and comfortable with a separate living area and jacuzzi bath. We liked the quirky... more

This is a great Seattle B&B. It is located in the Capital Hill area - but is a quick bus ride downtown. The bus stop is about 1 block away and will take you directly downtown to all the locations. The property is also located within walking distance of some good small restaurants etc. on Broadway or 15th street. The... more

Overall a wonderful place to stay... the rooms are spacious, the house well-decorated and comfortable... immaculately clean. Our bathroom was huge, having both a clawfoot tub and a shower stall, with excellent toiletries provided. Staff was extremely personable and helpful and breakfast was great--will definitely stay there again when in Seattle. As for traffic noise mentioned in another posting, this... more

If you don't mind some traffic noise, Salisbury House is one of the best places to stay in Seattle. The house is in one of the city's nicest neighborhoods, on a street of grand Victorian houses just south of Volunteer Park. It's conveniently located in the middle of the city, just 5-10 minutes' drive from downtown, Fremont, Green Lake, or... more
