I just stayed at the Hilton and the hotel is average at best. It could use a major upgrade to the 90's (and it's 2008). Pros - Decent location - Friendly staff - Comfortable Beds Cons - Worn Rooms, dirty carpet - Awful TV (about 19" with a bad picture) sitting on top of a cable-tie shut mini bar -... more

One of the biggest karate tournaments is held in Atlanta, Ga, the hotel that host the tournament is usually one of the best hotels around but that was not the case this year. The tournament was held at the Atlanta Hilton downtown and with everything that happened to our family and friends well lets just say we would have had... more

We were going to a karate tournament held at this hotel, this was the reason we stayed here. When we got there, they only had us booked for one night, but we actually had booked 2 nights. They were very helpful in making a way for us to stay the second night. At first they said they did not have... more

My family and some friends booked this hotel because it was the tournament hotel for a karate tournament in Atlanta. My friend and I booked our rooms about three weeks before the tournament. My friend told them we wanted ajoining rooms with two double beds. They took my friend's credit card number. My friends got there before we did and... more

My stay at the Hilton was about average, I did feel from the photos on the website that the rooms would be nicer than what they were, I was surprised by some of the quality of work that had been done and felt the hotel overall was misrepresented based on the pictures. The hotel is in a great location and... more

I was truly surprised at how average this stay was. We paid over $120 per night, but didn't mind, since it was a special occasion for us. We were both extremely disappointed. The only thing that reminded us that we were in the Hilton were the prices displayed on everything. From the $6.00 bottle of water to the $17.50 internet... more

I decided to go to Atlanta after visiting my parents in Florida. used my Hilton points for the 1st night there and got a very good rate for the 2nd night. Pros Location - right near Georgia Aquarium, Olympic Centenial Park, World of Coke. Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was great. Always willing to help. Quick checkin/checkout. Nikolai's bar (top... more

Ah, the eighties...this hotel seems caught right in that decade and deperately needs a makeover. The best part about the hotel is that it does have a lovely pool and exercise room. Its location isn't bad for visiting the aquarium and other attractions. But the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, the hairdryer was a pain to get working, and... more

We could not have been more pleased with every aspect of our stay, from our arrival to departure. Of the hotels we have stayed at downtown, this one stands out as the best. more
